OWN RISK
• Explanation of Own Risk Statement
Liability and responsibility Bikers for India will try to ensure the safety of the participants and limit the risk of accidents in many ways along the way. We give good advice in the field of protective clothing and oblige participants to adhere to it. We will also give the best possible advice regarding participation in traffic. Finally, we try to adjust the difficulty of the off-road routes as much as possible to the level of the participants.
Because the participants drive a motorcycle themselves, Bikers for India cannot be held responsible for any accidents or physical accidents that result from this. We also do not accept any liability for the driving behavior of local road users who may cause an accident involving participants. Participation in the motorcycle trip is therefore entirely at your own risk.
Because you are responsible for (the consequences of) your own risk, We will not force you to drive routes or face obstacles that you personally do not feel safe with. You can then make this known to the tour guide on the spot. An alternative will then be offered in consultation. Because an alternative route is often not within reach or the group interest suffers disadvantages, the tour guide will offer you to take a seat in the support car or taxi.
• Medicines, Diseases and Physical Condition
If you are dependent on medication (such as insulin) or if you have certain limitations due to your health, you must inform the tour guide at the beginning of the trip. If you are unsure whether you can make the trip responsibly with a certain illness or health problems, please contact your doctor well in advance of departure. Keep in mind that the trips can be physically and mentally strenuous and that this can be exacerbated if the weather conditions are bad or other external factors affect the trip. We expect every participant to be well informed about the difficulty of the trip.
You must declare that you are in good enough health to complete the trip successfully and without any problems. Bikers for India is not responsible for the consequences of your own health and physical condition during the trip. Of course, we will inform you along the way, provided that the rest of the group does not suffer too much from this.
• Weather conditions and natural influences
Our trips are planned as well as possible in the most favorable time of year. However, nothing is as unpredictable as the weather. And especially in the areas where Bikers for India organizes trips, the weather is an important factor in the experience of the trip. The weather may force us to drive alternative routes, adjust the program or, in case of very poor forecasts, end the trip early in consultation with the participants. Also, natural disasters, such as floods, earthquakes, can greatly affect the course of the trip. Bikers for India will offer alternatives in this case and implement them in consultation with the group. However, Bikers for India is in no way liable for the consequences of these external influences on the trip.
